Description
Prior to the expansion, a unique feature of the old building was the tapestry brick fireplace, donated by Elsie Gaskin. In 2005, restorations were made to bring the fireplace to a working condition. Centennial Celebrations, Parade. Left: Bagpiper, James Lundt, led a crowd down Broadway from the Adams Memorial Building to the MacGregor Building. Just behind James Lundt can be seen Town Historian, Rick Holmes, with a Tartan hat. Both bagpipe and tartan paying tribute to the Scottish Heritage of Henry F. MacGregor, the library benefactor. Center: Cheryl Lynch, Library Director, led the way to the library entrance wearing a birthday cake hat.
